ABOUT UKTLV

United Kindergarten Teachers of Las Vegas is a web site that engages in proactive and positive communication between kindergarten teachers and policy makers within CCSD and the state of Nevada. We are the first grassroots, teacher advocacy group to be allowed to utilize CCSD technology resources. While we are an uncensored advocacy group, we have implemented self-imposed professional guidelines as follows:

*Teachers will view the UKTLV website and take surveys before or after contract hours.
*The current goals of UKTLV are to reduce the number of instructional days lost to assessment, reduce class size, and have a return to the implementation of developmentally appropriate standards.

United Kindergarten Teachers of Las Vegas values the opinions of all kindergarten teachers in CCSD. Any kindergarten teacher in CCSD may participate in the dialogue and surveys on the web site. Participants do not have to belong to a union or an association to participate.

UKTLV is not an association or a union. We are a group of unpaid educational advocates that are committed to putting children first to include helping to ensure that taxpayer money is used in a cost efficient manner that directly beneifts children's social and academic growth.
